Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Courveia Website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
We aim to make courveia.com usable with keyboard, screen readers, and browser zoom. The following limitations are known and we are working to improve them:
- Some images, icons, and buttons (including the logo, menu, color options, and close controls) do not yet have a complete text alternative or accessible name.
- Some forms, including the newsletter signup, do not always provide a visible label or clearly announced error messages.
- Some text and error states do not meet the recommended contrast ratio.
- Some controls, such as product image pagination, are smaller than the recommended minimum size.
- Some videos and the 3D product view play or move automatically and cannot always be paused.
- Some pop-ups and menus are not fully usable as dialogs (for example, focus is not always contained, and some menus cannot be closed with Escape).
- The language of the page is not always identified in the HTML, and there is not yet a “skip to content” link.
- Heading structure is inconsistent on some pages.
- Checkout and cookie settings are provided by third-party services and may not fully meet the same standard.
