Technology is ubiquitous. The effect it has on humanity is beginning to be explored. It changes the way we feel, behave, and move. There are many advantages, but there are also side effects that we want to moderate. This collections’ silhouettes echo our bodies deformation because of technology while bringing us back into a healthy posture.
BODY POSTURE
Our muscles play a crucial role in making intelligent decisions. Therefore, my focus for this collection is how we can bring our muscles into an aligned position. I have placed pockets around our lungs to remind us of an upright chest and our breathing patterns. If we stand upright and slow our breath down, more oxygen gets into our bodies. Thus the cells are well-nourished, which means that the nerve cells can use more of their full potential. It activates our parasympathetic nervous system, which then allows us to make clear decisions.
CALM MINDSET
There is a lot of changes happening in our world. Therefore it's crucial to make clear decisions about which changes we want to encourage and which ones we don't. A calm mindset takes clear decisions. We can encourage our minds to make clear decisions by calming down our five senses strategically. In this collection, I focused on the sense of fragrance and included fabrication that smells like lavender.
